Today is a bittersweet day for me as I say goodbye to Get Found First.
When I came on with Get Found First we wanted to shake things up, get things moving in a new direction and pump some new ideas and energy into the company. We wanted to transition the company from a “we do everything shop” to “we only do PPC, and we rock it!” We didn’t just want to be another “agency” but one of the Premier PPC Management Firms in the industry.
We redesigned our website, and then redesigned it again. We have a completely mobile optimized responsive design website and blog. Get Found First has become one of the leaders in the PPC agency space and continues to innovate and set the bar high.
We were just recently included by Melissa Mackey as one of her top 10 PPC blogs. Now that is saying something coming from someone I think almost everybody in the PPC space looks up to. If you check out the latest post by Mark Jensen which really gets you thinking or, the latest e-book by Dillon Winspear and you can see the difference in where Get Found First was even a year ago vs today.
We are managing enterprise level accounts and making dramatic differences for the companies we help.
We have some of the smartest people I have ever worked with at Get Found First. Paul is a great out of the box thinker when it comes to PPC Management. He has really stepped up to the plate and tackled some big clients and projects. Steve is a freaking wunderkind when it comes to code and site development on top of the awesome PPC Star he has become. Dillon is a rockstar with design and making sure that everything he does has the client’s best interest in mind. Mark is an analytics genius, plus too many other things to mention, and Stu is a constant motivator to try and do more and do it better.
With all of these good things going on, and a lot of the change we hoped to initiate well under way, Mark and Stu are so confident they decided to buy me out, and I’ve let them.
Not to say there isn’t more to be done, but I have made my mark, and they are well on their way to being one of the premier PPC Management Firms in the industry. It’s one reason I am retaining a small equity stake in the company. More than that though, I learned a ton and have made some really good friends along the way. That is more valuable than anything else in my opinion.
So with all that being said, I’m looking for my next challenge, and hope it will be as exciting and will help me grow as much as I have here at Get Found First. I’m excited to see where the guys grow GFF and excited for this next chapter in my life, but also sad to be “ending” this chapter with GFF.
I’m proud of everything which has been done and the awesome crew at Get Found First and I am sure a lot of you agree with me!
